The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoid looks to score with a jab to the body but Hakopa is just out of range.
Nice body punch from Hakopa.

Zoid takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hakopa throws a nice looking combination but Zoid bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hakopa stuns Zoid with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Zoid loads up on a big right hand but Hakopa slips the punch.

Hakopa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zoid can pounce on him.

Hakopa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Zoid appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Hakopa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zoids jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zoid takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hakopa throws a hook to the side of Zoid's head but Zoid sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hakopa lands a right hook to the body.
Zoid throws a body shot but no joy.
Hakopa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hakopa dodges the punch combination from Zoid.
Zoid throws a leg kick but Hakopa moved away.

The crowd cheers as Zoid lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hakopa doesn't seem phased though.
Zoid has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zoid there as he acknowledges the shot.

Zoid definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Hakopa lands a right hook to the body.
Hakopa throws a series of punches but Zoid avoids them all with ease.
Zoid was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hakopa blocks a jab.
Hakopa looks to land a left hand but Zoid moved out of range nicely.

Hakopa lands a nice shot that snaps Zoid's head back.
Hakopa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Zoid had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zoid weaves into range and cracks Hakopa right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Hakopa goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Zoid is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

A very excited looking Harold Zoid made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
