Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eye Crap (ranked 7019 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Savage (ranked 5227 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Savage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crap punishes Savage's body with a nice straight punch.

Savage clinches up against the cage.

Savage takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Savage looks for a takedown but Crap sprawls well.
Crap rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Savage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crap cracks Savage with a good jab.
Crap lands a nice hook to Savage's body. Savage takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Savage drops his hands momentarily and Crap takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Savage shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Savage showed some decent athleticism there.
