Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simon Jensen (ranked 3417 p4p, 342 weight class) and Lamar Jackson (ranked 7484 p4p, 535 weight class). Jensen comes to the cage accompanied by Imagine Dragons - On Top of the World. Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Many Men. Lamar Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson scores with a shot to the body.
Jensen cracks Jackson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jackson is looking to land body kicks.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jensen circles away quickly and effectively.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jackson .
Jensen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A bone on bone clash there as Jensen blocks the leg kick.
It looked like Jensen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jensen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jensen moves out of range of the body kick.
Jensen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jackson misses with a body kick.
Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jensen.
Jensen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jackson tries to bum rush Jensen with a series of wild strikes but Jensen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jensen is looking to counter punch.
Jackson tries to move into range but Jensen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jensen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Jensen drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.

Jensen gets control of Jackson 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jensen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jensen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jensen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson is posturing up here but Jensen has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jackson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jackson has to tap! Slick submission there by Jensen!
