The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant avoids the head kick by Gomez.
Bryant attempts a counter takedown but Gomez avoids it well and moves away.
Gomez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gomez lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Elvin Bryant has been cut.
Monte Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomez just misses with a punch to the body.
Bryant on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Bryant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gomez.
Bryant really is a fat lump.
Gomez jabs at Bryant's body.
Gomez lands a big head kick that sends Bryant tumbling to the mat! Gomez takes a step backwards and waves Bryant back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gomez explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Gomez lands a brutal head kick. Bryant looks out on his feet and Gomez throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
