Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Roberts (ranked 2016 p4p, 210 weight class) and Lucas Basurto (ranked 1676 p4p, 183 weight class). Basurto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tapout - Birdman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lucas Basurto has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Basurto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Roberts postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Roberts is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Roberts wants to control from the top but Basurto keeps moving.

Basurto has his foot on Roberts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roberts works his way back into a safe position though.

Basurto is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Roberts rolls with it to try and escape but Basurto cranks on the arm and Roberts is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
