Williams has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Sam Williams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason drives through and clinches with Williams against the cage.

Mason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mason clinches up against the cage.
Mason tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mason gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Sam Williams has been cut.

Mason manages to break the clinch.
Mason scores with a head kick.
Williams throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mason sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sam Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mason throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Oooooh!!! Mason has knocked Williams down with a huge combo! Mason steps away and waves a wobbly Williams back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
