Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cu Chulainn (ranked 1778 p4p, 236 weight class) and Coyote Starrk (ranked 1253 p4p, 180 weight class). Chulainn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Blood of Cu Chulainn. Coyote Starrk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cu Chulainn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Coyote Starrk!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn shoots in but Starrk avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Starrk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Starrk gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

We've been hearing good reports from Chulainn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Chulainn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Starrk avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
