Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lanny Conway (ranked 24849 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Lind (ranked 6095 p4p, 650 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conway rushes Lind and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Conway prevents the takedown attempt.
Lind drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Conway gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lind is trying to pull guard but Conway has him pressed against the cage.
Lanny Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Lind.

Lind pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lind working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Conway has passed into half guard!

Conway drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lind looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lind looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lind!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lind is looking to take a break and control but Conway is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Conway tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lind wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Conway is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lind in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Lind throws an elbow but Conway slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lind remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Lind changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Conway tries to avoid it but Lind manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Conway to the ground. Conway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
