The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Muller enables Touchard to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Muller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Touchard forces his way into half guard.
Touchard looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Muller wants to get back to full guard.

Touchard is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Muller defends it well.

Touchard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Muller is looking to control Touchard's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Muller avoid being mounted?
Touchard is pressing down on Muller 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Muller is holding on for now.
Muller is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Touchard scores with a couple of nice shots.
