Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Javier Ronaldo (ranked 6256 p4p, 657 weight class) and Rhasaan Orange (ranked 6182 p4p, 655 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orange tries to sprawl but Ronaldo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Orange gets full guard.
Orange working for a triangle but Ronaldo defends it easily.
Orange had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ronaldo defends it easily.

Ronaldo wants to control from the top but Orange keeps moving.
Orange working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ronaldo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ronaldo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Orange working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ronaldo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ronaldo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orange has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ronaldo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Orange has his foot on Ronaldo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ronaldo works his way back into a safe position though.

After the fight, Rhasaan Orange was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
