Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barton Ferguson (ranked 8199 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Faze (ranked 6194 p4p, 0 weight class). Faze has chosen Ride on these MOTHA fuckas-by 2PAC as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faze manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ferguson on his heels. He'll look to pass Ferguson's guard now, I'm sure.
Ferguson is trying to control the position but Faze postures up.
Ferguson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Faze is one step ahead there.
Ferguson is working hard here to advance position.
Faze is pushing down on Ferguson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ferguson is fighting to maintain full guard but Faze has managed to sneak the leg through.
Faze seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferguson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Faze is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ferguson sees it coming and defends easily.

Faze is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Faze might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ferguson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Faze looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Faze looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ferguson is trying to maintain the position but Faze is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Faze tries to pass to full mount but Ferguson defends it.
Faze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ferguson keeps working.
Ferguson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ferguson.

Ferguson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Faze sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ferguson's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Faze is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ferguson is trying to get back to full guard.

Faze with the counter takedown but Ferguson avoids it easily.
Faze closes the distance and clinches up with Ferguson, looking for a takedown. Faze pushes Ferguson against the cage but Ferguson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ferguson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Faze throws a body shot but no joy.

Faze darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ferguson tries to get to full guard but Faze has control of the leg.

Faze is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Ferguson to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ferguson trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Faze tightening his grip on Ferguson, looking for the choke.
Faze is trying to stick to Ferguson's back but Ferguson is turning into Faze. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Faze's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ferguson.
Faze has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Faze manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ferguson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruno Faze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Ferguson gets caught flat footed, as Faze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Faze won't allow Ferguson to sweep him here.

Ferguson is looking to reverse the position.

Faze is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Faze goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ferguson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Faze but great work by Ferguson.

Faze wants to get back to his feet but Ferguson drags him back down.

Ferguson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ferguson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Faze wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Faze is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ferguson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Faze, who protects the arm well.

Faze throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Faze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ferguson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Faze thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Faze has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Faze trying to control but Ferguson is having none of it.
Faze might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ferguson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ferguson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Ferguson is looking for a sweep. Faze is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Faze seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ferguson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bruno Faze!
Bruno Faze spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
