And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vladimir Ivanov!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farina scores with a decent looking hook.
Ivanov looks for the body kick but Farina saw that one coming.
Some wild striking there from Ivanov.
Farina swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ivanov shoots in but no luck this time.
Ivanov tries a head kick but it misses.
It looked like Farina was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ivanov.
Ivanov with a poor takedown
and Farina counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Vladimir Ivanov has been cut.
Ivanov moves in looking to clinch but Farina pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivanov closes the distance but Farina moves to the side
and Farina counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ivanov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Farina points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Ivanov wakes up just in time to hear Farina thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mario Farina!
After winning the bout, Mario Farina thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
