The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sargent rushes Ullis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ullis wants to stall.
Ullis pressing his opponent against the cage.
A right hand to the body from Sargent.
Ullis lands with a right to the head.
Sargent misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sargent drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ullis pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sargent darts in and clinches Ullis up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ullis decides to pull guard.
Sargent lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ullis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ullis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sargent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sargent scoring with some ground and pound.
Sargent throws a big elbow that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sargent's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sargent postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sargent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ullis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Ullis pulls Sargent in to control the position.

Ullis wants to reverse the position here. Sargent has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Ullis is forced to tap! Ullis looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
