Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luka Giou (ranked 23903 p4p, 801 weight class) and DeMarus Clerence (ranked 4265 p4p, 497 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luka Giou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, DeMarus Clerence!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giou misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Clerence swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Giou moves away from the strike by Clerence.
Giou dives in and grabs Clerence's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clerence pushes down on Giou's head and hops out.
Giou closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clerence circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luka Giou. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Giou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clerence as he jumps to the side.
Giou really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Clerence lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Giou is looking to close the distance but Clerence sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Giou crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Giou is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
