Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gary Coffey (ranked 21293 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Johnson (ranked 4531 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Hans Zimmer - The Last Samurai Theme as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nice straight punches there by Johnson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Johnson.

Coffey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coffey.
Johnson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Coffey. Coffey circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Coffey tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coffey throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Johnson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Coffey under the eye.

Johnson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Coffey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely.
Johnson throws out a counter right but Coffey avoids it with no problem.
Terry Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson thows a body kick. Coffey tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coffey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Coffey has time to react.

Coffey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Coffey persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.

Coffey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coffey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Coffey blocks it well.

Coffey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Coffey keeps control of Johnson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Johnson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Coffey is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Despite the aggression on Johnson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Coffey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coffey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Terry Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
