Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brad Bozeck (ranked 2263 p4p, 226 weight class) and Orange Crush (ranked 2330 p4p, 233 weight class). Orange Crush is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Orange Crush!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crush decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bozeck manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Crush keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Crush drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bozeck gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bozeck wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Crush has him pressed against the cage.

Crush's coach down at Jitsu Jim was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Crush's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Crush turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Crush manages to end up in side control.

Crush has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

You can see the frustration on Bozeck's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Crush works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Let's hope that Crush has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
