Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Haywood Badger (ranked 1409 p4p, 70 weight class) and Barack Obama (ranked 2282 p4p, 114 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Haywood Badger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barack Obama!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badger works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


It looks like Barack Obama has been cut.
Obama throws a hook but Badger blocks it.
Barack Obama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Badger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Obama manages to avoid it.
Badger has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Marijuana Gardens in the buildup to the fight.

Obama shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Badger gets back to full guard.

Badger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Obama doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Obama manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Obama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Badger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Badger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fighters circle momentarily. Badger darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That was a close round but I would say that Haywood Badger will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Barack Obama.
