Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cuba Moretti (ranked 2582 p4p, 340 weight class) and Ricky Rondo (ranked 2389 p4p, 322 weight class). Rondo has chosen Super Freak as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moretti forces Rondo back against the cage and clinches.
Rondo's coach down at Spar Bros was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rondo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Moretti has Rondo pressed against the cage, preventing Rondo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Rondo breaks the clinch.
Moretti tries to clinch up but Rondo circles away and keeps his distance.
Rondo is looking for the big counter here.
A left and a right from Rondo both land. Nice combination.

Moretti darts in and clinches Rondo up against the cage.

Moretti's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Moretti lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Moretti.
Rondo is trying to force a seperation but Moretti has the dominant position.
Moretti lands with a short shot to the head.

Rondo is rocked!
Moretti content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Rondo is still on wobbly legs! Can Moretti finish him?
Moretti lands an uppercut.
Rondo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Moretti creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rondo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rondo drops to his knees and Moretti pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
