PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rip Snorten (ranked 1166 p4p, 164 weight class) and Ibrahim Abai (ranked 2537 p4p, 333 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Snorten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sound of Silence. Ibrahim Abai has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Snorten with a hook.
Abai moves in looking to clinch but Snorten pushes him off.
Abai with a poor takedown
and Snorten counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Abai tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Snorten defends well and Abai ends up having to push Snorten into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Snorten is looking to counter punch.
Snorten throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Snorten thuds a left hand into Abai's body.
Snorten cracks Abai with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Snorten getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
BOOM! Snorten lands a beautiful left hook that drops Abai. Abai tries to recover but Snorten is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Abai lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rip Snorten!
