Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Galactor Gigantus (ranked 4508 p4p, 135 weight class) and Nigel Gazelle (ranked 22889 p4p, 221 weight class). Gigantus's entrance music is Into the grave-by GRAVE. A fine choice. Nigel Gazelle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Galactor Gigantus's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gazelle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gigantus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gazelle.

Gigantus feints a jab promting Gazelle to slip. Gigantus then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gazelle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Gigantus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gigantus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gazelle's head backwards.

Gazelle shoots for a takedown but Gigantus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gazelle closes the distance and clinches up with Gigantus, looking for a takedown. Gazelle pushes Gigantus against the cage but Gigantus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gigantus leaves Gazelle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gigantus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gigantus thuds his right hand into Gazelle's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Gazelle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gigantus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gazelle somewhat.

Gazelle takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gigantus looks to land a combination. Gazelle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Gigantus lands with a hook. Gazelle tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gazelle takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

enabling Gigantus to counter with a crisp jab.

Oooooh!!! Gigantus has knocked Gazelle down with a huge combo! Gigantus steps away and waves a wobbly Gazelle back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gigantus cracks Gazelle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Gigantus throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Gazelle crashing down! Gazelle tries to stagger back to his feet but Gigantus just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Gazelle asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Galactor Gigantus!
Galactor Gigantus decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
