Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kev Wooten (ranked 2189 p4p, 232 weight class) and Altintop Palonesess (ranked 3560 p4p, 344 weight class). Wooten comes to the cage accompanied by Gods gonna cut you down- Johnny Cash. Altintop Palonesess has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kev Wooten's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kev Wooten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Altintop Palonesess!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Palonesess can pounce on him.
Wooten slips a jab and a cross from Palonesess.
Palonesess misses with a combination
and Wooten cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Palonesess throws a predictable looking body shot
and Wooten counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Palonesess misses with a takedown
and Wooten counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooten looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Palonesess fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kev Wooten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Altintop Palonesess.
Palonesess walks straight into a right hand from Wooten - that's dropped him! Wooten jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Palonesess from any more punishment! Palonesess complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kev Wooten!
