Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nails Hammer (ranked 17338 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isumbra Gardner (ranked 3141 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Gonna Beat You Up!. Isumbra Gardner is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner cracks Hammer with an open hand slap.
Gardner misses with a two punch combination.
Hammer half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Hammer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Gardner tests Hammer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gardner. Hammer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hammer tries to counter with a takedown but Gardner is quick to defend against it.
Gardner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hammer moves away.
Hammer wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

and Hammer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gardner won't be happy with that.
Gardner tries to buck Hammer off but Hammer is having none of it.
Gardner is trying to control Hammer's posture but Hammer avoids it.

Hammer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hammer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gardner wants to control but Hammer postures up.

The ground and pound from Hammer seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Hammer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gardner is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hammer throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammer remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Gardner avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hammer.

Hammer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hammer is working to tighten his grip on Gardner's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gardner has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hammer is really squeezing tight and eventually Gardner passes out! Hammer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
