Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xavier LaFera (ranked 4414 p4p, 364 weight class) and Murasaki Bara (ranked 8259 p4p, 506 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bara's choice of entrance music: Smooth criminal. Xavier LaFera is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Murasaki Bara!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bara throws a combination. LaFera tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bara cracks LaFera with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bara lands a body shot.
Bara scores with a jab to the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - LaFera looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
LaFera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bara's waist but Bara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LaFera off to one side.
Bara lands with an uppercut that bounces LaFera off the cage and back into range.
Bara bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of LaFera's head.
Murasaki Bara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaFera uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bara.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

LaFera fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
LaFera working aggressively here.
LaFera swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Bara lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Bara lands a hook that snaps the head of LaFera backwards.

LaFera is rocked!
Bara lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops LaFera to his knees! Bara keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
