Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Archie Trew (ranked 1330 p4p, 38 weight class) and Marcus Ware (ranked 526 p4p, 12 weight class). Trew comes into the arena with Fuck You - Lily Allen blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Archie Trew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Ware!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trew dodges the punch combination from Ware.
Ware has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Trew misses with a low kick.
Trew moves out of range as Ware strikes.
Trew fails with a takedown attempt.
Donk. Trew catches Ware right on the button with a cross.
Trew wants to land a leg kick but Ware is out of range.
Ware throws an overhand right that lands on Trew's shoulder, as Trew tries to avoid the shot.
Ware throws a shot from downtown. Trew moves away and avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ware walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Trew swings for the body but Ware moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Ware. No joy for Trew on that attempt.
And Ware tries to counter it with a takedown but Trew pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Trew moves out of range of the strikes.
Ware walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

A big left from Ware misses.

Trew shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ware manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ware pulls Trew in to control the position.
Trew stands up over Ware, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ware wants to get back to his feet but Trew is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've been hearing that Trew has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Trew tries to free his leg and advance position but Ware is retaining full guard.
Ware trying to keep a closed guard but Trew is proving a slippery customer.
Ware looking for a sweep. Not yet Ware, not yet.
Ware wants to get back to his feet but Trew is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Trew with a nice head shot there.
Ware is looking to stand up but Trew isn't so interested in that idea.
Trew postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Trew distracts Ware with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Trew scoring with punches to the head and body.
Trew in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Trew landing some decent shots from guard.
Trew connects with a couple of short punches.

Ware is rocked!
Trew postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ware avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ware is looking to stand up but Trew isn't so interested in that idea.
Trew postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Trew postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ware covers up, he's hurt! Trew keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Trew and the ref steps in to end the fight! Trew can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

After winning the bout, Archie Trew thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
