Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Brandon (ranked 1281 p4p, 178 weight class) and Edmund Dorrance Jr (ranked 1419 p4p, 195 weight class). Brandon comes to the cage accompanied by Life Is Beautiful. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Dorrance Jr!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon dives in for a single leg takedown but Dorrance Jr sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brandon.
A countering left hand to the body from Dorrance Jr misses.
Brandon shoots for a double leg takedown but Dorrance Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Brandon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dorrance Jr! But no joy.

Dorrance Jr feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brandon sprawling to the canvas! Brandon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dorrance Jr finish him?!

Brandon is rocked!
Dorrance Jr finds Brandon's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Brandon flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dorrance Jr lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Brandon will be OK.
