The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sexyama takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sexyama looks to land a left hand but Van Rooy moved out of range nicely.
Van Rooy throws out a powerful jab.
Van Rooy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sexyama or perhaps it was just good defense by Van Rooy, which made it look bad.
Sexyama throws a looping overhand right but Van Rooy ducks down to avoid it.

Sexyama working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Van Rooy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Van Rooy is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Sexyama is staying active.

Sexyama looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Van Rooy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Sexyama is working for a guillotine from mount but Van Rooy frees his head quite easily.
Van Rooy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Sexyama is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Van Rooy defends it well.

Van Rooy is looking for a sweep. Sexyama is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Van Rooy shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Sexyama takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Van Rooy sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Sexyama bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
