The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcpherson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Campbell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A punch lands to the side of Mcpherson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Campbell connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mcpherson tumbling to the canvas! Campbell pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mcpherson was done - good stoppage!
