Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Clark Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Benji Lootin!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lootin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lootin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

It looks like Benji Lootin has been cut.
Lootin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kent.
Kent throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lootin misses with a hook
and Kent counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lootin throws a shot from downtown. Kent moves away and avoids it.
Lootin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A swing and a miss from Lootin.
Lootin throws a poor cross that misses
and Kent counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kent avoids the body shot from Lootin.
Lootin missing with a left hand there. Kent was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kent blocks a jab.
Kent cracks Lootin with a right hand to the side of the head.

Lootin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kent's guard.
Lootin is looking to work some ground and pound but Kent has wrist control.
Lootin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kent pulls Lootin in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lootin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kent is pulling down on Lootin's head. It's preventing any offense from Lootin, at least for the moment.
Lootin throwing strikes but missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lootin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kent has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Lootin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kent moves out of range as Lootin strikes.
Kent misses with an uppercut.
A punch combination from Kent misses.
Kent throws a body shot but no joy.
Kent thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lootin is looking for the big counter here.

Lootin staying out of range there.
Lootin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lootin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Kent to counter with a crisp jab.
Kent lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lootin at a distance.
Lootin shoots and misses
and Kent connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lootin throws a lazy uppercut
and Kent counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kent scores with a nice right hand.
Lootin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kent's hands.
Kent stuns Lootin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A big left from Lootin misses.
It looked like Kent was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lootin.
Kent moves into range and connects with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lootin throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Kent counter with a right hand.

Lootin is rocked!
Kent lands with a big right hook that stumbles Lootin - he's out on his feet here! Kent follows up with another monster hook that separates Lootin from consciousness! Lootin falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kent stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Clark Kent!
Clark Kent seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
