The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pacheco.
Rider drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pacheco defends it well.
Pacheco shoots and misses

and Rider counters with a crisp one two that drops Pacheco! Rider thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pacheco to his feet! Pacheco is in big trouble!

Pacheco is rocked!
Rider ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Pacheco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rider ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rider looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pacheco throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rider 's waist but Rider gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pacheco off to one side.
Pacheco seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Pacheco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rider throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pacheco stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Rider counters with a crisp right hand that drops Pacheco! Rider lets Pacheco back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Jose Pacheco has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pacheco circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Rider . Pacheco falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Rider !
