The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jafar scores with a jab to the head.

Jafar clinches up against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Jafar fails to land.
Bruiseface blocking some punches.
Jafar lands with a right to the head.
Bruiseface struggles to land a body shot inside as Jafar controls his hands.
Jafar lands a right hand.
Bruiseface misses with a body punch.
Bruiseface tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
I was talking to Jafar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bruiseface.

Bruiseface pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jafar thuds his right hand into Bruiseface's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jafar throws a shot from downtown. Bruiseface moves away and avoids it.
Jafar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Jafar closes the distance and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A left hand lands to the body for Jafar.
Jafar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bruiseface backwards.

Jafar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bruiseface backwards.
Bruiseface fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jafar pushes Bruiseface against the cage. Jafar is working some dirty boxing. Jafar pushes off with a quick right hook! Bruiseface goes down! Bruiseface tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Jafar moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
