Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kian Shorten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maxxy Baby!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Baby - just one landing.
Shorten will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Shorten closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Baby forces Shorten back against the cage and clinches.
Baby lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Shorten is rocked!
Baby creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Shorten with a big uppercut! Shorten tries to clinch up but Baby pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Shorten to the mat! Shorten covers up and Baby unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Maxxy Baby!
Maxxy Baby spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
