Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Mafaking (ranked 165 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anet Olive (ranked 24580 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mafaking swats away the attempt to clinch by Olive.
Olive looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mafaking is fending him off so far but Olive persists. Nope, Mafaking circles away and we're back to standing.
Mafaking half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Olive shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mafaking as he avoids it easily.
Olive shoots in looking for a takedown. Mafaking tries to sprawl out of it but Olive keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mafaking manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bruce Mafaking has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anet Olive.
Olive shoots in for a takedown but Mafaking shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mafaking gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mafaking looks up at the clock and then as Olive takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mafaking smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mafaking cracks Olive with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mafaking works to advance to full mount. Olive defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Mafaking lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Olive is bucking up trying to escape but Mafaking cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Mafaking throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Olive has his hands clasped together but Mafaking breaks the hold and Olive is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mafaking!
