Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Van Rijn (ranked 1970 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Cashnew (ranked 4615 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Van Rijn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andrew Cashnew!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Rijn lands a nice looking kick to the body. Cashnew takes a step back to recover.
Van Rijn throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Van Rijn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cashnew.
Van Rijn looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Andrew Cashnew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Rijn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cashnew.
Cashnew uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Van Rijn.
Cashnew throws out a loose jab but Van Rijn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Van Rijn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cashnew.
Van Rijn misses with an uppercut. Cashnew saw that one coming.
Cashnew looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A jab from Van Rijn does it's job there.
Cashnew misses with a hook. Van Rijn ducked under it nicely.
Van Rijn throws a counter high kick but Cashnew was just alert enough to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Cashnew misses the target.
Van Rijn moves away from the strike by Cashnew.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cashnew takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Van Rijn feints and then cracks Cashnew's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cashnew down.
Cashnew misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Van Rijn.
Van Rijn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Van Rijn thuds a left hand into Cashnew's body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Rijn slips a straight right by Cashnew.
Van Rijn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Van Rijn scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cashnew in his tracks.

Cashnew is rocked!
Cashnew throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cashnew is still on wobbly legs! Can Van Rijn finish him?
Cashnew fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Van Rijn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cashnew avoids the head kick by Van Rijn.
Cashnew throws an overhand right that lands on Van Rijn's shoulder, as Van Rijn tries to avoid the shot.
It looked like Van Rijn was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Van Rijn walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Cashnew drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Van Rijn swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Cashnew's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
