Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Henrick on his heels. He'll look to pass Henrick's guard now, I'm sure.
Henrick is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Blood Warrior that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Petrov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henrick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Henrick tries to bum rush Petrov with a series of wild strikes but Petrov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Petrov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Henrick moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Henrick moves forwards but Petrov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Petrov ducks under a wild hook from Henrick.
Petrov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Petrov lands in his opponent's guard.

Henrick stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Petrov throws up his legs and catches Henrick in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Henrick tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Petrov! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Eugeniy Petrov!
Eugeniy Petrov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
