The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannerry swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Castro has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Castro misses the shot to the body.
Flannerry with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Castro to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Mickey Flannerry has been cut.
Castro throws a jab when Flannerry was well out of range.
Flannerry moves away from the strike by Castro.
Castro throws a hook but Flannerry avoids it easily.
Flannerry lands with a nice combination. Castro backs away looking to recover.
Castro tries to clinch but Flannerry moves out of range.
Flannerry throws out a counter right but Castro avoids it with no problem.
Castro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Castro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Flannerry's head backwards.
Castro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Flannerry.
Flannerry works the jab nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flannerry fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Flannerry scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A decent looking cross lands there for Flannerry.
Castro takes a jab right on the kisser.
Flannerry lands with an uppercut that bounces Castro off the ropes and back into range.
Flannerry's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Flannerry duly obliges.
Flannerry misses with a body kick.
Flannerry swings for the body but Castro moves out of range.
Flannerry throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Castro lands a nice hook to Flannerry's body. Flannerry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Flannerry defending well as Castro loads up on a big left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flannerry takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Joe Castro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flannerry fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Castro getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Castro throws an overhand right that drops Flannerry like a sack of potatoes! Castro dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
