The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amana swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Viki there.
Amana drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A big left from Amana misses.
Viki misses with a looping right.
Amana bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Viki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Viki throws out a loose jab but Amana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Viki on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Miki Viki has been cut.
Viki looks to throw the jab but Amana is out of range.
Amana tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Viki was well out of range. Poor timing from Amana.
Amana doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Viki counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lalama Amana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Amana doesn't manage to clinch there - Viki circles away.

Amana dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Amana will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A decent looking cross lands there for Viki.

Viki clobbers Amana with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Amana counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Amana throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Amana throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Viki on the side of the head.
Viki is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Viki counters with a nice low kick that buckles Amana's knee momentarily.
Amana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Viki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Viki jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
