Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Tyme (ranked 2300 p4p, 232 weight class) and Roronoa Soro (ranked 3392 p4p, 294 weight class). Tyme kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Here Comes The Money. Roronoa Soro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Tyme !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roronoa Soro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soro bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tyme lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyme is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Soro.
Tyme shoots in and gets a takedown into Soro's guard.
Tyme drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Soro dives on top into guard.
Soro would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Tyme has his foot on Soro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Soro works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyme is trying to keep Soro in close.

Soro gets to his feet. Tyme looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Soro blocks a low kick nicely.
Roronoa Soro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tyme is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Soro.
Tyme shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tyme showed some decent athleticism there.
Tyme is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Soro has managed to free his arm - good work.

Tyme is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Soro is just riding it out for now. Tyme eventually gives up the hold.

Tyme wants to work for an arm triangle but Soro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tyme passes to side control.
Soro told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyme advances to mount.
Tyme won't let Soro get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Tyme looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Tyme working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Soro turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Tyme off and cradles Soro's limp body as Tyme celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Mark Tyme !
Mark Tyme gave a mention to KOMBAT KLOTHING in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
