Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yury Konstantin (ranked 8269 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danilo Pichardo (ranked 6687 p4p, 0 weight class). Pichardo has chosen "Dueño De La Conec" by Jhon Gotty as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pichardo misses with a head kick.

Konstantin forces Pichardo back against the cage and clinches.
Pichardo is trying to break the clinch but Konstantin has him pressed against the cage.

Konstantin breaks the clinch.
Pichardo is looking to clinch but Konstantin is avoiding it.
Pichardo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Konstantin avoids it really well and circles away.
It looked like Konstantin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Pichardo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pichardo takes one to the side of the head.
Pichardo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Konstantin breaks the clinch.
Konstantin throws a nice looking combination but Pichardo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pichardo feints the counter takedown.
Pichardo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Konstantin is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pichardo.
Pichardo scores with a decent looking hook.
Pichardo misses with a takedown attempt - Konstantin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pichardo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pichardo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yury Konstantin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danilo Pichardo.
Nice shot lands for Konstantin.

Konstantin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pichardo was well out of range. Poor timing from Konstantin.
Pichardo shoots in but no luck this time.

Konstantin gets a double leg takedown into Pichardo's guard.

Pichardo kicks Konstantin off and gets to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pichardo is looking to clinch but Konstantin is avoiding it.
Konstantin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pichardo.
Konstantin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Konstantin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Konstantin lands a jab.
Danilo Pichardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pichardo moves away from the strike by Konstantin.

Konstantin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Konstantin showed some decent athleticism there.

Pichardo kicks off Konstantin and gets to his feet.

Konstantin works the jab nicely.
Pichardo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Konstantin as he avoids it easily.

Konstantin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pichardo is trying to defend but Konstantin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pichardo tries to kick Konstantin off in order to stand up. Konstantin Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Konstantin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Pichardo is trying to strike from the bottom but Konstantin has passed into full mount.
Konstantin looking to ground and pound but Pichardo is blocking nicely.
Konstantin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pichardo on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Konstantin throws some wild stikes that Pichardo manages to avoid easily.
Konstantin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Konstantin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Konstantin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pichardo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pichardo!

Pichardo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Konstantin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pichardo is looking to defend but Konstantin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pichardo! Konstantin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pichardo taps out and this one is all over!
