The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettaway connects with a nice looking jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pettaway throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Pettaway connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Pettaway moves into range and clinches up with Sudo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pettaway gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Dan Sudo has been cut.
A body shot lands from Pettaway.
Sudo tries to break the clinch but Pettaway is controlling the position.
Pettaway lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Sudo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pettaway walks away with a smile on his face. Sudo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sudo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Dan Sudo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pettaway looks to land a combination. Sudo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Pettaway smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Oh Sudo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pettaway Throws a clean left jab. Pettaway Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Sudo's chin! Sudo crumbles to the ground and Pettaway follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Pettaway!
