Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jango Chan!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguilar wants to clinch up but Chan keeps it at a distance.
Chan unleashes a big counter combination but Aguilar bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Chan slips a jab and a cross from Aguilar.
Aguilar tries to clinch up.
Chan throws a body punch but Aguilar moves out of range.
Aguilar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Chan rushes Aguilar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chan manages to break the clinch.

Chan drives through with a takedown into Aguilar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chan keeps trying to improve his position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!


It looks like Omar Aguilar has been cut.

Chan is stalling in the full guard.
Chan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Chan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chan won't allow Aguilar to sweep him here.
Chan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Omar Aguilar's cut is getting worse.
Aguilar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chan is one step ahead there.
Chan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aguilar is on top in guard.

Aguilar won't allow Chan to get back to his feet.
Aguilar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Aguilar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Aguilar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chan is proving hard to escape from.
Aguilar trying to control but Chan is working from the bottom.

Chan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Aguilar trying to control the position from guard on top but Chan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Aguilar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chan is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aguilar's guard.

Chan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Aguilar working a defensive guard but Chan passes into half guard.
Chan slips a nice elbow through Aguilar's hands, connecting with Aguilar's forehead.
Chan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Chan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Aguilar wants to control but Chan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jango Chan dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Chan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Chan misses with an elbow strike.

Aguilar blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Aguilar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chan walks away with a smile on his face. Aguilar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Aguilar gets tackled into the cage by Chan. Chan maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Chan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Chan advances nicely into full mount.
Aguilar tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Aguilar tries to hold on but Chan postures up.
Aguilar is looking to get to half guard.
Chan postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Aguilar in real trouble here! The ref calls for Aguilar to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jango Chan!
