Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brazilian Burger (ranked 884 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wesley Pipes (ranked 2730 p4p, 0 weight class). Burger's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sorriso Maroto - Assim Você Mata o Papai. Wesley Pipes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Pipes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Burger misses with a straight right.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burger is defended easily by Pipes.
Pipes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burger moves away.
Burger shoots in for a takedown but Pipes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Pipes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Burger sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pipes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pipes misses with a wild body shot.
Pipes throws a jab but it's blocked by Burger.

Burger thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pipes did well to prevent Burger getting side control.

Pipes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burger's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burger's back!

Pipes throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
I really don't envy Burger right now.
Burger is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Pipes doesn't have the hooks in and Burger manages to turn into his guard.

Burger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Pipes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Burger trying to control but Pipes is working from the bottom.
Burger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Burger is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pipes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Burger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burger takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pipes looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Burger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Burger seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pipes is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
