The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Glass's head backwards.

It looks like Bill Glass has been cut.

Glass misses with an uppercut.
Blunt appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Glass avoids the body shot from Blunt.
Blunt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fighters circling - Blunt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Glass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Glass misses with a hook. Blunt ducked under it nicely.

A decent looking cross lands there for Glass.
Glass walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A looping hook to the body misses from Glass. Blunt does a little dance to reset his feet.

No joy there for Blunt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Glass is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blunt.
Blunt is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Glass counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Blunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Glass paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Glass throws a lazy right hand but Blunt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Blunt counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Blunt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Glass as he jumps to the side.

Blunt wants to clinch up but Glass keeps it at a distance.
Glass takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Blunt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Glass on the side of the head.

That's time! Blunt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Blunt stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Blunt is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Barry Blunt is winning the standup battle so far.
Blunt cracks Glass with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Glass falls to his knees and Blunt doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Barry Blunt thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
