The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miocic throws a wild body kick that Sambora sees coming a mile off.
Sambora scores with a nice right hand.
Sambora scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Miocic wants to get back to his feet.
Sambora lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Sambora stops Miocic from getting back to his feet.
Miocic regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sambora.

Sambora stands up over Miocic, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sambora really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miocic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miocic seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Sambora content to stall in guard here.
Sambora postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Miocic covers up, he's hurt! Sambora keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Sambora and the ref steps in to end the fight! Sambora can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
