And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luiz Correia Azevedo!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booker slaps away a takedown attempt from Azevedo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A shot to the liver by Azevedo. Beautiful body shot.
Azevedo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Azevedo slips under a jab from Booker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azevedo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Azevedo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Booker misses with a hook.

Azevedo lands a slapping body shot.
Azevedo cracks Booker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Booker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Booker looks to score with a jab to the body but Azevedo is just out of range.
Booker takes one to the chin there.
Azevedo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Azevedo shoots in but no luck this time.
Maxwell Booker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Correia Azevedo.
Azevedo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Booker appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Booker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Azevedo defending well as Booker loads up on a big left hand.
Azevedo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Booker defends it well.
Booker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Booker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Booker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Booker connects with a nice short shot to Azevedo's temple.
Azevedo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Azevedo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Azevedo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Booker has his hands clasped together but Azevedo extends and breaks Booker's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Azevedo.
