Rose falls off balance throwing a combination

and Danielson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rose looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Danielson passes into half guard.
Rose is looking for a sweep. Danielson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like Danielson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Danielson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Rose tries to roll but Danielson sticks to his back.

Danielson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rose tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Danielson is in Rose's guard.

Danielson wants to stand but Rose is controlling his posture from full guard.

Rose throws his legs up looking for a submission but Danielson uses it to pass to side control.
Rose is breathing heavily.
Rose wants to control but Danielson postures up.
Rose is looking for a sweep.

Rose isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Danielson stacks Rose on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Danielson!
