Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Araujo (ranked 2049 p4p, 269 weight class) and Atlas Metaxas (ranked 2364 p4p, 308 weight class). Araujo comes to the cage accompanied by Who Shot Ya?. Metaxas has chosen Richard Humpty Vission-Superstar as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Metaxas defends it nicely.
Metaxas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Araujo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Araujo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Araujo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Araujo is looking to clinch but Metaxas is avoiding it.
Metaxas is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Metaxas closes the distance and clinches.
Metaxas lands an elbow inside.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Metaxas.
Metaxas lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Metaxas gets underhooks to prevent Araujo's takedown attempt.
Araujo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Metaxas avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

After the fight, Atlas Metaxas was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
