Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Crack Head (ranked 104 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Jones (ranked 478 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen One - Metallica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Crack Head!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Luther Jones!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Head pushes him off.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Head napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Head is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jones asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Head taking punishment in the form of punches.
Head tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position.
Jones cracks Head with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Jones looks up at the clock and then as Head takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jones smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jones tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Head parries the strikes from Jones easily there. Jones is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Head to escape.
Head on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Head tries to get out of the position.
Jones grinds an elbow into Head's temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Head is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Head is defending well.

Head definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Head gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Head breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luther Jones.

Head misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Head.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Head swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Head throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones swings for the body but Head moves out of range.

and Head cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jones just misses with a punch to the body.

Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Head lands a nice shot to the body.

Crack Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Head moves away.

Head is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Head takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jones has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Head throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Head gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Head manages to retain guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Head manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Head swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

A very excited looking Luther Jones made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Crack Head was interviewed post fight and said 'I eat enemy placenta for breakfast'.
