Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter dodges the punch combination from Slay.
Slay swinging wildly here.
Zay Slay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slay digs a good body shot into Walter's ribs.

Walter throws a quick counter head kick but Slay was just out of range.

and Walter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slay's guard.

Walter wanted to stand there but Slay had control of the position.

Slay looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Walter has picked Slay up and slammed him! Slay can't keep hold of the triangle and Walter manages to pass to side control!

Walter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slay keeps working.
Slay takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Slay is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Slay looks to move to half guard but instead Walter has passed into mount! Damn!
Walter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Slay is trying to escape the mount.

Slay should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Walter is landing with some decent strikes but Slay is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Zay Slay has been cut.
Walter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Slay keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slay can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slay is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Walter has taken his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Slay can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The cut above Zay Slay's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zay Slay's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
