Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Combo King (ranked 3920 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatfield McCoy (ranked 3956 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy has chosen Dueling Banjos as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King cracks McCoy with a right hand to the side of the head.
King throws the kick towards the body but McCoy avoids it.
McCoy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McCoy closes the distance and clinches.
McCoy tries for a takedown. No joy.
McCoy wants to break free but King has control.
King lands with a light punch inside.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McCoy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
King lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Hatfield McCoy has been cut.
King lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

and McCoy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
