Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Perrone (ranked 22859 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Lopez (ranked 4767 p4p, 0 weight class). Perrone comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. Lopez has chosen Vamos as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perrone doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lopez counters with a left to the body.
Perrone shoots for a takedown but Lopez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Perrone has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Perrone walks into a stiff left hand from Lopez.
No joy there for Perrone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lopez lands with a kick to the temple. Perrone shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perrone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lopez was well out of range. Poor timing from Perrone.

Lopez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Perrone back to the cage. Lopez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
